Apricot Macchiato

An indulgent, apricot-flavoured variation on the famous Italian layered coffee.

Ingredients

    2cl 1883 Apricot syrup
    3cl espresso
    15cl milk froth

preparation

    Pour the chilled milk with the syrup in a milk jug, and turn up the temperature with a steam nozzle to obtain a smooth creamy texture.
    Pour the mixture in a Toddy glass (or in a transparent cup) then pour the espresso onto the surface and top with the remaining froth.
    Decorate with a dried apricot and crushed hazelnuts.
